High School Musical 3 Press Conference

The cast of High School Musical 3: Senior Year participates in the start-of-production press conference at East High School in Salt Lake City, Utah on Friday. Who showed up? Director Kenny Ortega, Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Monique Coleman and Corbin Bleu. Principal photography will kick off tomorrow, May 3. The all-new HSM3 feature film will be shot on location in Salt Lake City, Utah, and is set for release in theaters October 24, 2008. High School Musical 3: Senior Year finds high school seniors Troy and Gabriella facing the prospect of separation as they head off to different colleges. Joined by the rest of the Wildcats, they stage an elaborate spring musical reflecting their experiences, hopes and fears about the future. With incredible new music and exciting dance numbers designed to take maximum advantage of the big screen, this motion picture extravaganza delivers plenty of high-energy entertainment from East High’s talented ensemble.

Zanessa Jazz Up Their Relationship

High School Musical couple Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens check out the the Utah Jazz/HoustonRockets game Thursday night at the EnergySolutions Arena. “I was watching them. They were rooting for the Jazz,” said Fox 13 Sports Director Rick Aaron. In this video, you’ll see Zanessa pointing up toward the Jumbotron, then looking quizzically toward the camera. In the middle, they even hold hands. Zanessa didn’t sit front row as they watched the Rockets beat out the Jazz in a 94-92 win. High School Musical 3 — Zanessa Edition!

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens work up a sweat at a dance rehearsal for the upcoming feature film, High School Musical 3: Senior Year, at a hush-hush location in Utah on Tuesday and Wednesday. Looks like Zanessa’s still going strong, folks! How cute is Vanessa passing Zac a set of car keys behind her back??? Also spotted on set was Vanessa’s 22-year-old BFF Ashley Tisdale, who wore a “I Love Pink” shirt. Vanessa, 19, was also seen wearing “Eighty Sixers” sweats and carrying a UPS box with an envelope sticking out with her name on it. Zac, 20, was spotted holding a box of Nike sneakers.

High School Musical stars and BFFs Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale were on American Idol last night for a hot second. To help raise money for Idol Gives Back, Ashnessa said, “Hey everyone, we’re in Utah on the set of High School Musical 3, so we can’t be there tonight but we wanted to wish you all good luck. “Remember, there are people all over the world who need food, shelter and medicine. Tonight, we can all do somethingn for them. Kids, dig into your piggy banks and parents, dig into your wallets. “We’re all in this together, so pick up that phone and do whatever you can. Vanessa Music: A Title for an Album

So, we finally have a title! According to tommy2.net, a very reliable site and the relay of the information from our good friend Tim, Vanessa Hudgens’ sophomore album will be titled Identified. Be on the lookout for her album to drop in June along with the single, Sneaker Night, premiering on Radio Disney this Friday! I can’t wait to hear it! Ashley Tisdale Spills Secrets on Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens and HSM3

Ashley Tisadale is talking and the blonde starlet from the High School Musical films sits down with Us Weekly magazine this week to talk about Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron and she spills some HSM3 secrets to the magazine, including a few hints of what the sneaky little Sharpay might just be up to this fall.Tisdale tells Us Weekly the third installment of the blockbuster High School Musical movies (due in theaters October 24) is a "more amazing, more exciting and much bigger production" than the first two. Her character, Sharpay, will once again try to come between Troy (Zac Efron) and Gabriella (Vanessa Hudgens).
"She is a manipulator, a villain and a drama queen," Tisdale, 22, said while promoting her Degree Girl contest (in which she'll give away a trip to a future concert). "And she always has her eye on Troy. It's Zac Efron - who wouldn't?" Tisdale adds that beau Jared Murillo, 19 - who had a bit part in the sequel (they began dating in February 2007) - won't be back this time.
Too bad: Since it's about their senior year at East High, the movie "will probably include prom and graduation," she says. Bring on the big dance numbers!

Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale (with puppy Maui) are seen leaving a rigorous four-hour dance rehearsal at a top secret location in Utah on Thursday. Of course, this was in preparation for their upcoming feature film, High School Musical 3: Senior Year, which also costars Lucas Grabeel (below). Also spotted on set, but not pictured below: Monique Coleman, Olesya Rulin, Chris Warren Jr and director/choreographer Kenny Ortega. Seems like the gang is all back together–but where’s Zac Efron and Corbin Bleu?? Stay tuned for new pics from the set of HSM3, which has a tentative release date of Friday, Oct. 24.

Vanessa Hudgens Wasn’t Arrested

Giving a big smile while doing so, Vanessa Hudgens chatted away on her cell phone in between takes on the Texas set of her new movie on Wednesday (March 5). She’s filming Will, which is set for release in 2009. As previously reported by Gossip Girls, Will centers on a high school outcast and a popular girl (Hudgens) who form an unlikely bond through their shared love of music.

Meanwhile, CosmoGIRL! reported that Miss Hudgens was recently arrested for underage drinking in an article that appeared yesterday, but it seems that their sources turned out to be misinformed. The CosmoGIRL! story read, “It might be hard to believe, but Vanessa Hudgens was arrested for underage drinking, according to Back Seat Cuddler. The Disney starlet was hanging out at a Hollywood club when an undercover cop entered and began a random search for minors who were drinking. Even Vanessa’s mom called her daughter’s actions ‘stupid.’ I just hope Vanessa doesn’t end up going down the same road as some other Hollywood starlets. Get it together, girl!” Since that time, the story has been completely scrubbed from the CosmoGIRL website, as it turns out everything’s A-Okay is the life of the High School Musical starlet.

The “High School Musical” babe was spotted on the set of her new movie “Will” wielding a Gibson Flying V guitar and looking like she was ready to rock.

Hudgens was sporting a white knit dress overtop a black ribbed long sleeve shirt as she let her long dark curly locks fly.
According to press, “Will” sees Vanessa in a familiar roll - a high school girl.  “A high school outcast’s bond with a popular girl over their shared love of music results in them assembling a rock group that looks to win their school’s upcoming battle of the bands competition.”
